Das Duo NOVI SONI Eva Jiménez (bandoneon, piano, compositions), Irma Servatius (viola, compositions)- create colourful, melancholic, swinging, tart, cheerful, rousingly rhythmic soundscapes:
boldly and freely painted in the air, glazed, opaque, pastose, framed by imaginative creations, the audience hears rhythms such as  tango nuevo, valses, milongas …
Eva Jiménez has been composing for over 20 years and plays in various formations. In her 2nd band she plays tenor sax together with a pianist and a drummer – jazz standards, original compositions and free improvisation (“House”).
Occasionally she also performs with a classical violinist and pianist. Here Eva’s

She trained as a concert bralist at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, where she completed her master’s degree in 2006.
