Dr.in rer. nat. Anna Gasperl
Dr.in rer. nat. Anna Gasperl comes from Bad Aussee and completed her studies in natural sciences and botany at the Karl Franzens University in Graz with distinction.
She gained professional experience at the Apple, Fruit and Vegetable Academy in Hart near Kaindorf as a lecturer in plant and commodity science, at the Natural History Museum in Graz as a nature educator, at the Karl Franzens University of Graz, Institute of Plant Sciences as a research assistant and at the Institute of Biology (Department of Plant Sciences) as a lecturer. Her research stays took her to France and South Africa and were reflected in numerous publications.
The fact that “our” vegetables from the region are not necessarily native and that neophytes have been appearing in our botany books for centuries as valuable components of our flora is something that some people are still not quite aware of.
We are expecting an interesting, informative slide show by the scientist.
