Musical lesson: Duo CLASSIC – WELCOME SUMMER!

Alexandra Fheodoroff (Klavier/piano) & Carina Sammer-Jandl (Flöte/flute)

The duo Alexandra Fheodoroff (piano) & Carina Sammer-Jandl (flute) span a summery music-historical performance arc from the classical period to the present, interpreting works by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Kreisler, Elgar, Waldteufel, Toselli, Schrammel and then standards and evergreens.

Alexandra Fheodoroff, born in Klagenfurt,
attended the BRG Viktring with a focus on music, the conservatory in Klagenfurt and the University of Arts in Graz.
Before she completed her IGP studies with Prof. Elisabeth Väth-Schadler with distinction, she spent a year studying abroad in Phoenix at Arizona State University.
Afterwards she studied at the Kunstuniversität in Graz with Prof. Christiana Perai and completed her Master’s degree.
She has given numerous concerts at the ORF Matinees in various chamber music ensembles.
Furthermore participation in various master classes for chamber music (Prof. Bonduriansky,
Prof. Ivanov, Prof. Finlayson).
Successful participation in international competitions for piano duo, e.g. in the Czech Republic and Italy.

Currently teaching as a piano teacher at the MS Mureck.

 

Carina Sammer-Jandl, born in Graz, Austria
attended the Musikgymnasium and the J.J.Fux-Konservatorium Graz, class of Prof. Hechtl.
Studied concert flute and IGP at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (class of Prof. Schulz), graduating with distinction.
Numerous master classes with renowned flutists (Andrea Lieberknecht, Peter-Lukas Graf, Aurel Nicolet etc).
Orchestra/substitute work with the Niederösterreichische Tonkünstler, Vienna State Opera, Symphony Orchestra of India etc..
Numerous prizes at national and international competitions.

Carina Sammer-Jandl currently teaches at the MS Mureck and MS Mautern.
