FINE CRIME ROBERT PREIS „DER TOD TANZT IN GRAZ“

Robert Preis

A famous Austrian folk musician dies, another artist’s death follows, the country is petrified. The police’s investigation stagnate, the chief investigator in fact has vanished. Dark, weird characters take over the scene. Rumor has it, it is the devil himself. Yet the country’s biggest celebration of customs and traditions is just around the corner: the infamous “Aufsteirern”.

In his most recent publication Rober Preis mixes fantasy, folklore and crime: “I am curious about telling these very exciting stories from Styria, that people outside the region barely know anymore.” Rober Preis, born in Graz in 1972, studied Journalism and Ethnology in Vienna, after which he returned to Styria and where he lives with family today. He is a journalist, author of countless novels and non-fiction book, and initiator of the festival FINE CRIMEKrimifestival™ in Graz.
